Image Arithmetic between an OPEN IMAGE and an IMAGE FILE . . .

If I have IMAGE A open in PREMIER and IMAGE B closed but stored in a FILE, is there a way to do arithmetic between images A and B ( perhaps A - B ) without opening IMAGE B?

    No.  Both images need to be open.

    Matt,

    As Craig mentioned, you must have image opened in Premier to do arithmetical operations. You may open them as invisible images.
