Lumenera Camera Issue with PREMIER V9.3.3 and WINDOWS 10 . . .

2018-01-27-032545

All --

I have a CAMERA ISSUE with

    LUMENERA-INFINITY3-3URC CAMERA
    WINDOWS 10
    PREMIER V9.3.3

The LUMENERA SOFTWARE has been loaded and the CAMERA is working with ANALYZE as shown below.

No errors are displayed in PREMIER and the CAPTURE TOOL sees the CAMERA but the IMAGE WINDOW is BLACK even though the normal things like EXPOSURE and GAIN have been adjusted.

What is the solution to this issue?

Thanks.

    All --

    With guidance from MEDIA CY TECH SUPPORT, I did the following:

    DEINSTALL CAPTURE INTERFACE SOFTWARE = CHECK
    DEINSTALL LUMENERA SOFTWARE = CHECK
    REBOOT = CHECK
    DISABLED WINDOWS DEFENDER = CHECK
    REINSTALL LUMENERA SOFTWARE = CHECK
    REBOOT = CHECK
    DISABLED WINDOWS DEFENDER = CHECK
    TESTED CAMERA WITH INFINITY ANALYZE = PASSED
    REINSTALL CAPTURE INTERFACE SOFTWARE = CHECK
    TESTED CAMERA WITH PREMIER = PASSED
    SHUT DOWN PREMIER
    ENABLED WINDOWS DEFENDER = CHECK
    TESTED CAMERA WITH PREMIER = PASSED
    REBOOT COMPUTER = CHECK
    TESTED CAMERA WITH PREMIER (with DEFENDER RUNNING) = PASSED

    So . . .

    I do not know whether it was the REINSTALL that resolved the issue or whether it was the REINSTALL with DEFENDER DISABLED that resolved the issue but the issue seems to be resolved.

    I have attached a SCREEN CAPTURE of the PREMIER / CAMERA / COMPUTER combo generating a LIVE IMAGE below.

    I hope this information is helpful.

    All --

    I would like to add a bit of additional information to this query . . .

    All of the HARDWARE and SOFTWARE in the above issue were working together successfully when the computer was a brand new out of the box WINDOWS 7 COMPUTER.

    That configuration was changed to a WINDOWS 10 because the WINDOWS UPDATE MECHANISM sensed that the CPU in the COMPUTER was newer than what is officially supported by MICROSOFT.  Since this condition stops UPDATES from happening, the customer asked that the OS be changed from 7 to 10.  The primary HD was wiped and WINDOWS 10 was installed and then everything else was re-installed.

    Thanks.
