Image-pro Express 6.3 from 2006 compatibility with Windows 10

I'm trying to install Image-pro Express 6.3 in Windows 10 but I just can't get it to work, i get the error Local Key: Cannot open the HASP Device Drive. Install the Hasp Device Driver. Network Key: Can't find the NetHASP Server. I installed the drivers that came with the CD that didn't work, then tried installing newest Sentinel drivers, but still nothing. I tested it again on Windows 7 and works without problem. Am i missing some drivers or is the program not compatible with Windows 10?

Hello,

I drew a bunch of ROIs yesterday in Image Pro Insight 9.1 and this morning when I try to open them in the same program (or with Image Pro Premiere 3-D), I get the following error: "LoadAoiFormStoargeError: Graph overlay load source is not formatted correctly, or it is damaged." I am getting this error on both the files I created yesterday and my backups that I had uploaded and downloaded from Dropbox. I can open up the files and see the images (some have polygons as well), just the ROIs are missing. Is there a setting I can adjust to recover these ROIs? I did not get any errors while drawing or saving them yesterday. I get the error on the same computer I drew the images and a different computer, so it is not laptop specific. Lastly, I searched the forums and it seems there might be an issue with ROI size limit?

Z-stack creation

Hi,
I am looking for the process to z-stack a sample, the software guidance gives detail on how to process it later with EDF options. Is it as simple as taking the individual images and applying them together before using the EDF step to view all in focus? I am unable to see this in the software guide, could you point me in the right direction.

Live image clear, Captured image blurred

In Image pro premier. Using monochrome camera (infinity 3 luminera), the fluorescent image under live view was clear but same image after capture appears blurred. The composite image of two image was also very unclear.What could be possible reasons. Thank you in advance.

Latest build crashes on region measurements

I have a file from a Histech scanner, that has a lot of information. IPP3D 9.2 resolved the image in the wrong color assignment, latest build, file looks great. However, when I try to get region measurements (anything beyond area/perimeter) -- for RGB values, integrated intensity, the program crashes. This is a 500MB color file, that "inflates" to fill memory space as large data object. Running as ROI or Resolution, up to 1:1, still unstable. Computer has enough memory to load completely 1:1 (192GB). Any additional guidance? Thanks in advance...

Bug on Heterogeneity

Hi Folks,

Version 3.3 seems to have a bug when adding a heterogeneity filter on measured data.
Values become negative (though they can just be between 0 and 1). The filter is applied very easily after the count and works very well in all other previous versions... Please take a look - ... You can also do it manually. Just measure something, then add Het and take a look at the values displayed in Edit Range....

Use isosurface to clip labeled area, then measure intensity of second channel contained therein

I have a user who would like to measure the intensity of a second data channel that resides in areas delineated/clipped from an isosurfaced primary data channel.

The data is particulate in nature, and vary in size, so there are multiple objects that get evaluated in each field.

Is there an accessible methodology that can take the isosurface and apply it as a mask for a second "raw" voxel data channel?

How do I merge 3D OBJECTS and then perform a FILTER?

A customer has a question that I am passing along.

If a sample can be carried into the 3D portion of PREMIER 3D and then an ISO SURFACE can be added, if an object is split by the THRESHOLD, is there a way to "WELD" two objects together so they are counted as one?

I have generated an example image set named

This example image is attached.

Right now, I can find all of the objects and I can FILTER out all but the LARGEST OBJECT. This is shown in the first image below.

I would like to "weld" together the LARGE CENTRAL OBJECT and some of the surrounding smaller objects and then I would like to filter our the remaining SMALLER OBJECTS. This is shown in the second image below. This what done by building a bridge between the two objects in the first frame of the sequence in 2D.

Is there a way to do this using the tools in the 3D section of PREMIER 3D?

PREMIER and DICOM FILES . . .

A PERMIER 3D user has 3D IMAGE STACKS saved by a device that saves the STACKS as DICOM DCM FILES.

On their computer, they have IMAGEJ and a TAG within the DCM FILE exists that gives the dimension of the VOXELS in um / pixel in X, Y, and Z.

When I open one of their DCM FILES within PREMIER 3D V9.3 using

** DRAG AND DROP
** FILE OPEN

the CALIBRATION in XYZ from the DICOM DCM FILE TAG does not seem to be digested and applied to the image so X, Y, and Z are set to UNCALIBRATED or 1, 1, 1 Pixel per VOXEL when I activate the 3D VIEW MODE. This is shown below.

I have flipped through the DOCUMENT PROPERTIES in PREMIER 3D V9.3 for the DCM IMAGE and the closest I can come to what I'm looking for is SIZE in the EXPERT TEMPLATE as shown below but this seems to be a PRINT SIZE or something else because it shows a RESOLUTION of 100 DPI and WIDTH and HEIGHT in INCHES. This is shown below.

Is there something I'm doing wrong or is this feature of the DICOM DCM IMAGE FILES not supported by PREMIER 3D V9.3?

Hi.

I'm trying to track cells on a live-movie (433 MB) with IPP3D64 on a quad-core PC with 24 GB RAM. A constant and irritating feature is that I can track and measure the objects (cells) and modify the settings maximum of 3 times before the application freezes with 'are the outlines of objects correct' yes-no message. Task manager shows no activity for IPP3D. What's the problem?

Sub sampling from oib format

I'd like to extract one of four channels from an oib image (3D). However, I'm just able to extract the first channel and not other (always RDX1, no matter how I adjust the subsample procedure (which seems to be the only option to use). Can you help?

Could someone help me to count the number of drops(the blue stains) inside the photo below ? I also want to know the mean diameter and the coverage percentage ?
note: actually I know how to do this but I want to check if my method is correct or not, so it would be better if there will be some details.

I am opening a 3D data set in IPP3D and the quality looks terrible. I open the same image in Imaris and it looks really good. Many apps have a quality/speed setting that can be adjusted, does IPP3D have a setting like this somewhere?
