Codec problem_image pro plus

So, I have a video file (video and audio) in mp4.
I used a converter to remove the audio and to convert the file to AVI.
When I try to load the video to image pro plus i get this erro :" Erro opening C:\Users\Uminho\Desktop\new_video.avi <-5>
Is it a problem with the codecs?
Did anyone else encounter this problem?
Can you help me solve it?

    This is an issue with the proper CODEC not being on the machine.  It is best to resave the file as an Uncompressed AVI.  That way, a CODEC is not necessary.
