Visual Styles error when opening images

When opening files from the Welcome Page or the file menu, I get the following error and the application effectively locks on this screen. ( IPPremier 9.3.3)
This is a new installation (computer was refreshed/upgraded, running Windows 10 Pro (64-bit))

    Hi,

    I have not seen this error before. 

    Does this error occur when opening images from the File menu?

    Both from the file menu and the Welcome screen.  It seems to get fixed when I turn the the Windows 10 Ease-of-Use screen setting to High Contrast (this makes the computer hard to use with that color scheme).  The standard Windows 10 theme does not seem to work.

    Exactly the same error and problem. Although able to open an image through file explorer, select the file, then open with Image-Pro. A work around but ideal.

    Also to note, Once this error prompt appears the program totally locks up and you can't do anything.
