merge application-measurement
I have cells that are have a feather-like appearance. I can get the processes to count, but it counts all the ends as individual cells. I can merge them using the relative measure tool, but it still keeps the individual count. Is there a way to merge objects that meander in and out of view, but belong to one cell body that is proximal to the processes? I can count the cell bodies and eliminate the processes, but there is other analysis that I would like to do to count the dendritic length.

It could be possible to get the data per cell using Parent/Child app or just directly in Image-Pro using Parent outlines.
Can you attach a sample image?
