How to unload/unregister an app (encrypted package)

I have another question in the context of packaged projects?

How to "unregister/unload" an encrypted app. There is only the ribbon button "OPEN PROJECT" but none that is CLOSING the PROJECT. And I couldn't find a way via the workbench, too?

Please advice.

    Hi Helga,

You can use "Remove Project" from the context menu:

  • Yuri,
thank you. Have overlooked this option. But wouldn't it be nice to have a REMOVE PROJECT ribbon button next to the OPEN PROJECT one?? Just as user convenience

    I agree.

A USER-FRIENDLY mechanism to REMOVE PROJECT for IMAGE-PRO would be helpful.

One method that I use is

    1. SHUT DOWN IMAGE-PRO
    2. ADD AN "X" TO THE NAME OF THE FOLDER HOLDING THE PROJECT
    3. START IMAGE-PRO
    4. CLEAR THE ERROR ABOUT MISSING PROJECT
    5. SHUT DOWN IMAGE-PRO
    6. REMOVE THE "X" ON THE NAME OF THE FOLDER HOLDING THE PROJECT
After you do this, the PROJECT will not be linked to IMAGE-PRO.

I hope this information is helpful.

  • Hi Matt,
Thank you for your reply. I have used a similar way to handle the "problem". Working, but definitely not quite nice
