MACRO EXPLORER and FAVORITE MACROS on QUICK ACESS TOOLBAR . . .
All --
IPP904 includes a mechanism to put a link to a MACRO under the MACRO EXPLORER ICON in the MACROS SECTION of the AUTOMATE RIBBON by making the MACRO'S FAVORITE PROPERTY be YES.
That's super but there seems to be two issues . . .
1) If a MACRO EXPLORER with FAVORITE MACROS is added to the QUICK ACCESS TOOLBAR, the FAVORITE MACROS are sometimes accessible via the MACRO EXPLORER on QUICK ACCESS TOOLBAR and sometimes they are not. It seems that FAVORITE MACROS always disappear from the QUICK ACCESS MACRO EXPLORER when PREMIER is restarted.
2) The QUICK ACCESS TOOLBAR sometimes loses the MACRO EXPLORER ICON when PREMIER restarts.
A alternate solution is to add the MACRO itself to the QUICK ACCESS TOOLBAR (QAT) via the MACRO PROPERTIES. This seems to be a reliable mechanism. Unfortunately the name of the QAT MACROS only show in popup windows making picking the right macros a delicate operatyion. The list of FAVORITE MACROS as displayed by the MACRO EXPLORER works better for me.
Is there something that can be done within IPP904 to make the QAT version of the MACRO EXPLORER have FAVORITE MACROS even after a restart?
Thanks.

Matt,This is a bug in Premier 9.0.4, until it gets fixed you are right that the workaround is to put the macro itself in the QAT. Thanks for reporting this.Pierre0
