Discussion on Particle Density Measurement Requirements

Hi everyone, I have encountered a measurement requirement.
I want to determine the extent of detection for the dense area on the right side.

I want to obtain the measurement results of the thickness of high-density areas, as shown in the following image.

I currently want to determine the level of density by counting the number of black-white transitions via [Line] to judge the degree of density.
As shown in the following image

How can I obtain the number of black-white transitions for each line segment, or is there a better method?
Due to computer performance issues, I don't want to use [Line Profile].

If really need to use [Line Profile], I'd like to know how to quickly obtain the number of peaks for each Line Profile.

Waiting for a response, thank you, everyone.

    Hi Kyle1996,

You can use Large low-pass filter to identify dense areas on your image, you can set the height of the filter as large as you need and then segment the image and get the parameters:

You can also use Line Profile to collect the data related to the density along X direction. Sending the data to Data Collector will give you the values in tables and graphs:
