Change the active image DPI
I have used the following macro to change the image DPI values.
Public Sub SetDPI
Dim i As Integer, s As String
If ThisApplication.ActiveImage IsNot Nothing Then
With ThisApplication.ActiveImage
i = .DotsPerInchX
s = InputBox("Enter new DPI value:", "Set
DPI", i.ToString)
If Not String.IsNullOrEmpty(s) Then
If Integer.TryParse(s, i) AndAlso i > 0 Then
.DotsPerInchX = i
.DotsPerInchY = i
Else
MsgBox("Invalid DPI value!")
End If
End If
End With
End If
End Sub
The macro works (or seems to work) correctly but if I save the image (Tiff format) with the new DPI value (eg 1200 dpi) and reload it inside IPP7, the dpi reported are always set to 100 .
Any solution?
Thank you
Maurizio

Hi Maurizio,
This looks like a bug in file saving, which we will address in a future version. However in the meantime, there is a potential workaround which we will email you separately.

Hi Maurizio,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention (DPI information is not persisted with tif format in IP Premier) – will file a bug.
Note, DPI information persisted correctly in IPP7.
Thank you,
Nikita.
