Beginner problem

I'm a beginner with image pro plus.

I've got a problem. I want to measure the coordinates of a point. I open 'measurements' and then click on 'create point features'.

Here what I see in 'measurements':

the first row is the Y coordinate, and the secondo row is the X coordinate... that's not what i want!

i want two differents columns, the first with x, and the second with y... how to do????????

  • Just go to Types drop-down (on Measure tab) and add Point:LocationX and Point:LocationY measurements. You will get 2 columns in the data table to X and Y point locations.

  • Sorry, I haven't realized that you are asking about IP Plus (I gave recommendations for Premier).
    In IPPlus open the Features tab (not Measurements) and you will have Center X Pos and Center Y Pos columns.

  • I still don't see them. the columns I see are:

    Fetaures ||| Area | Length ||||| Angle | Avg. Dist. | Min. DIst. | Max. Dist. | Ctr-to-Ctr Dist.

    I'm sure I have to see them in Measurements (the windows that is opened in my pictures) becausse I've used it on another laptop, and I had two columns with both X and Y... :(
  • Open Features tab - these measurements will be in 2 separate columns.
  • I don't... :(
    (maybe I'm on the wrong tab...?)

  • Somehow you minimized width of Center X and Center Y columns. Just expand it with mouse. You should see columns as on the attached screenshot.
  • ok great!!! I've understood the problem, but I'mnot able to expand it with mouse... it just doesn't do anythyng

  • Put your mouse over the column separation line in the column header.  The pointer should change at that point.
