VELOCITY GRAPH in MOTION TRACKING TOOL . . .
All --
I'm working with the MOTION TRACKING TOOL in IPP 9.1.4.
I've generated an IMAGE SET of a CLOCK FACE that has 12 FRAMES with one hour showing in each frame.
I believe that I've set the MOTION TRACKING to think that each frame is 3600 SECONDS apart (1 FRAME / 3600 SEC).
Since the TRACK goes from 1 to 2 to 3 . . . and since the numbers are approximately the same distance from each other, I do not understand the VELOCITY GRAPH generated by the TRACKING TOOL.
I ran the numbers out into an XLS FILE to do the VELOCITY CALCULATIONS manually and I got numbers that match my expectations more closely.
Can someone please explain the difference between these results?
Thanks.

Velocity is the Distance/(Interval between frames). You should check first the Distance graph and then the frame times to see if intervals are the same.
If you can't find the problem, please send me the original sequence.

Thanks for the information.
Using MANUAL and TRACKING, the CENTROIDS from the HOURS are the same as
but the DISTANCES obtained MANUALLY (via EXCEL) vs TRACKING are
This is shown in

and in
The REL TIME seems to be set the way I intended at 3600 sec / frame.
The SEQ FILE is 45 MB
I've attached FRAMES 1 - 4 as JPG FILES so you can create a smaller SEQ FILE to see what is happening.
I've also attached
Clock -- 2015-04-22-141729.tro
(as Clock -- 2015-04-22-141729.txt to pass ATTACH FILTER)
so you can call up exactly the same TRACKING OPTIONS that are on my system.
Thanks again.

Thank you for your advice regarding the
TRACKING + OPTIONS + VIEW + SMOOTHING
setting.
Adjusting this number to 0 results in the TRACKING TOOL generating the same DISTANCE MEASUREMENTS as calculated by my EXCEL SPREADSHEET based on the OBJECT CENTROIDS.
This is shown in the attached JPG image.
Thanks again.
