Live preview tiling is black & EDF always blurred

Hello,
I have a good quality image when I put in the live mode, but when I ask to start the Tiling, the preview comes black. I've tried to increase the light but it seem not to be the problem. when I stop the Tiling it saves the image black as well.

Anothe problem is when I try to do the auto EDF, as it chooses always the worst focus (and doing manually it works).

It's difficult to say what the problem is without more details. What camera do you use? What is the version of IP Insight? Do you use 32 or 64 bit version of the program? How much RAM do you have?
