Documentation - Getting started

Hello 'Friends'
I am new to Image-Pro Automation. Where is the perfect place to start, when I want to make an application with macros. I am used to VB programming, but need to learn how to set up things in Image-Pro. Some toutorial explaining how to get started perhaps?

Also I need documentation of the Object model.

Hope someone see this:-))

The best place I can recommend would be EXAMPLE APPLICATIONS.

A good source for these is:

        http://www.mediacy.com/resources/appcenter

Another good source for is RECORDING actions within PREMIER and then dissecting the resulting code.

Perhaps the folks at MEDIA CY can direct you to other more formal resources and documents that will help you learn how to create the MODULES, APPS, and PROJECTS that can be used to automate IMAGE-PRO PREMIER.

I hope this information is helpful.

  • Torben,

    • The Media Library http://www.mediacy.com/resources/media has a number of tutorials.
    • The Image-Pro Premier Automation Help (from the Help button in the Project Workbench) contains an Overview with explanations about the main concepts and a Reference section which covers the entire object model.
    • Otherwise Matt is right, the App Center will give you access to a lot of sample code which should look mostly familiar if you are used to VB.
    • Finally if you have specific needs, feel free to post on the forum in the Automation section where you will get quick help from engineers.
