overlay measurement data

Is there a way to view line measures from two separate measurement tables on the same image? I basically want to visually compare the measurements on one image from 2 different people.

I figured it out.   I had originally tried highlighting both of the files at once to open them and that did not work. I just opened the measurement data tables separately and both appeared on the image.

If I understand your question, you are looking for a procedure that will allow multiple users to make measurements on one or more images and then have the measurements appear simultaneously at a later time in an image.

The SCREEN CAPTURES below show a procedure that will make this happen using the FEATURES MANAGER.

In these examples, there are 3 images (A, B, and C) that are all the same.

3 measurements were made in "a.tif", they were transferred into the FEATURES MANAGER and then saved in "a.roi".

    The FEATURES MANAGER was CLEARED

2 measurements were made in "b.tif", they were transferred into the FEATURES MANAGER and then saved in "b.roi".

    The FEATURES MANAGER was CLEARED

"a.roi" and "b.roi" were recalled into the FEATURES MANAGER.

The 5 measurements were recalled into "c.tif".

I hope this information is helpful.

Yes, kdanil, you can either save measurements from different images to IQM files and load both of them to the same image (as you've found yourself) or use Features Manager (as Matt showed) for the same purpose, in that case you don't need intermediate files.

  • When I used the IQM FILES, I only got the measurements one set at a time rather than both sets together.

Is there an option someplace that changes this behavior?

    Thanks.

  • Yes, you have to activate "Preserve existing data" checkbox before loading second file.

    Yuri

  • I turned on

MEASUREMENT OPTIONS + COUNT OPTIONS + PRESERVE EXISTING DATA

    and recalling

        a.iqm

    then

        b.iqm

    only shows the measurements in

        b.iqm

    Am I using the wrong

        PRESERVE EXISTING DATA

    Thanks.

  • Matt, are you using 9.2 version?

    9.1.4

    I'll try in 9.2.

  • Yes, this feature was enabled only in 9.2.

  • With

MEASUREMENT OPTIONS + COUNT OPTIONS + PRESERVE EXISTING DATA

    selected in PREMIER 9.2, recalling

        a.iqm

    then

        b.iqm

    results in

        MEASUREMENTS A

    and

        MEASUREMENTS B

    in the SAME IMAGE.

I learned a couple of things about PREMIER via this question!

    YAY and Thanks.
