phase contrast microscopy whole cell outline and tracking
Hi guys,
I'm new to image-pro plus.
I wonder if it's possible for image pro plus to correctly identify the whole cell outline in phase contrast microscope images and be able to track them?
thank you.
Best,
paul

Hi Paul,
Phase contrast images are difficult to segment. You may try to apply some edge filters, for example Sobel, to make cell boundaries visible (then Dilate or LowPass). You can track the sequence using the tracking function.
