Line Profile Edits

We are editing multiple line profiles due to updates in methods. Each line profile has measurements and we want to change the length of the profile on the origin side. The measurements are typically placed manually due to the subjective criteria of what we are locating along the transect. Is there a way to change the length of the profile without erasing the measurements?

    Hi Kevin,

    The line profile tool automatically removes all edges if any changes made to the line profile and there is no direct functionality to preserve them while profile is moving.

    However, using macro language you could save the line profile origin and edge locations, then move line profile and adjust edge location based on the new origin and restore them back.
