Issue with IMAGE-PRO 10/CONFIGURATION FILES FOLDER

I have a customer with IMAGE-PRO 10.0 that has a problem with their

    C:\Users\Owner\Documents\Image-Pro 10

folder.

It seems that WINDOWS or IP10 is deleting the FOLDER shown above or making a .BAK copy of the FOLDER.

If the IT STAFF have the FOLDER above open with EXPLORER, then IP10 can shut down and restart and maintain its CALIBRATIONS through the RESTART.  If the IT STAFF do not have a the FOLDER above OPEN, then the FOLDER seems to DISAPPEAR or get copied into a .BAK version of the FOLDER that is not usable by IP10 when it starts so the CALIBRATIONS are lost.

Is there any rhyme or reason to the design of IP10 that would cause this?

To me it sounds like a WINDOWS POLICY EDITOR ISSUE.

I hope there is an easy solution.

    My understanding is that this issue was resolved via phone call (and WEBEX?) with MEDIA CY TECH SUPPORT.

    Would it be possible to document the resolution here so that if another IP USER encounters this issue, the answer it posted?
