Apply Spatial Calibration from .lif file
I have a lif file that was taken using a leica microscope and when I open it in imagepro there doesn't seem to be a way to view/apply the spatial calibration metadata. Is there a way to view/apply this metadata?

Hi mkozio,
Image-Pro can read LIF files and its metadata, including calibration. You can check it with some open samples: https://zenodo.org/records/3382102#.Y57rFnbMJaQ
If your image is opened without calibration, then, for some reasons, Image-Pro could not read the calibration. You can try opening this file in LAS software, ensure that the calibration is present, and then either resave it as LIF again or a TIF.
Also, if you know calibration parameters (pix per unit), then you can create the calibration manually in Image-Pro and apply it to the image.
Regards,
Yuri
