Programmatically extracting data from the data collector
I am building an application in which I am capturing data from an image document grabbing count/size data and stats. I now would like to use the data collector in an effort to collect data from replicate images accessing summary stats as I measure images. I need to know how to programmatically access stat data from the… -

Re: Discussion on Particle Density Measurement Requirements
Hi Kyle1996, You can use Large low-pass filter to identify dense areas on your image, you can set the height of the filter as large as you need and then segment the image and get the parameters: You can also use Line Profile to collect the data related to the density along X direction. Sending the data to Data Collector… -
Re: Data collecting and statistics in Image-pro Premier
Yes, of cause, instead of sending the data to Excel you can send it to Data Collector. Just add all measurements you need to Data Collector types. Note, that you can also collect only measurement stats using "Measurement Stats" table. There is also a possibility to define user equations in Data Collector. You can check our… -
Re: Datacollector limitations
2017-01-06-115354 Torben -- If the DATA COLLECTOR can generate an ASCII DATA FILE under macro control, then your macro can: ** Use the DATA COLLECTOR to generate the SINGLE IMAGE ASCII DATA FILE ** Clear the DATA COLLECTOR After you have all of the SINGLE IMAGE DATA FILES (from the DATA COLLECTOR) then: ** Perform the… -

Is there a way to add object count from the data collector to a report?
I am using the data collector to aggregate measurements from multiple images to count enough objects for my statistics. I then want to create a report that includes an entry with the total number of counted object. I can get the data collector easily enough, but I'm not sure how to get a total count. -
Re: Line Profile
Hello Nikita Still doesn't really help as I'd already tried to get the data from the data collector itself using the macro posted by Yuri (Programmatically extracting data from data collector) I can get yours and Yuri macro to give me the table names but no data and there is definitely data in the data collector and in the… -
How can I control decimal places when exporting Data Collector data into Excel?
I am measuring the area of particles in a field using Data Collector to aggregate the individual occurrences. I have the Measurements Options set to 5 decimals. When I aggregate using the Collect button, the Data Collector Table shows values at 3 decimals. When I export the Collector Table to Excel, the values show up in 9… -
Re: Copy measurement table results in another variable
Hi fsup, You can save iqm file and also save results data table to a TXT or XLS file (just record a macro to see the commands). Though I would recommend using Data Collector for that purpose: you can collect data from your polylines to Data Collector (from individual lines or statistics per image), delete, draw new,… -
How to filter Data Collector results?
Hello, I am wondering how to filter results from the Data Collector app (either via the Expression section in the Data Collector app or via code in the project module). I would like to place a threshold on values for the "mTrVelocity_Mean" column I am collecting data with. So any track with a mean velocity value BELOW… -
Re: Can you use data collector to select only rows that contain a certain measurement type?
If you delete the measurement object - it's gone, it will not be shown in Measurements data table and not collected to Data Collector. How do you collect data to Data Collector? Clicking the Collect button, using Auto collect option or by your macro? If you use a macro for data collection, be sure it's not recreating the… -

Re: How to append data with Image Name Tag?
Hi Bill, You cannot insert image name into the table that is saved by IpBlbSaveData. You can use one of the following methods to link data with image name: 1. Save data for every image to a different file. Use image file name as a part of the data file. Something like this: ret = IpBlbSaveData(imageFileName + ".cnt", ...)… -

Can't remove custom data from collector field
(Originally posted by Rik on 6/20/2013) I am having a problem with the data collector. I have written a macro that export measurement data to the data collector. To do that, the macro checks if there are columns defined, if not it will create one: IpDcGet (DC_NUMCUSTCOL, 0, number_of_columns) If number_of_columns = 0 Then… -

Re: Tube Growth Tracking
Hi Laurie, When you use "Count all frames" the measurements are collected in Data Collector (Measure tab), so you will see them opening data collector data table. There you can also check the graph (area over time). I've attached the measurement list for Data Collector that will collect Image name, Frame Index, Area(sum)… -
Re: How to create a macro?
Yes, you can do that with Image-Pro. 1. Record a macro that does the analysis on a single image and collects the data to Data Collector. 2. Use Batch Processing to run this macro on a folder of your images (set your macro as Loop On), so the data from all images will be collected to Data Collector's table. Yuri
